My Boo Lost A Tooth!!!!
And let me just say, he was FREAKIN' out!! It was so funny! I was on the phone with my daddy and was taking something into Dawson's bathroom when I looked and Dawson was coming out of his bathroom with blood all over his face and hands!!! Then I started freakin' out!He was screaming "I'm so sorry Momma" over and over again... And I looked and noticed that he had a tooth missing!
I said "Oh my gosh Dawson are you okay? How did that happen? Did you fall? What did you hit?" He said screaming "NOTHING, IT JUST CAME OUT!!!" 
So I tried to calm him down and assure him that it was going to be ok and that momma and daddy both lost all of our teeth when we were little and they all came back!!! Finally he stopped crying.... And you may wonder why he was doing all of the crying...... Well, it's kinda my fault.....Ya see, Dawson hates to brush his teeth.... I would always have to do it for him for a long time... Then I told him after awhile that he was big enough to take responsibility and brush his own teeth... I also threw in there that if he didn't brush them good they were gonna fall out!!
After the tooth was out, I started thinking of all the weird things that have been happening with him and his teeth...
1. I've not noticed the tooth being loose AT ALL!!
2.I haven't noticed Dawson wiggling or touching the tooth at all!!
3. He's been brushing his teeth on the weekends WITHOUT me having to make him!!
4. He's been on my butt for the past 3 weeks about making him a dentist appointment for his check up... (he knew it was time because we got the little card in the mail and he LOVES going to the dentist!!).
5. Out of the blue on the way to Monroe on Friday he busts out with:
dawson: "Mom do you have your purse??"
me: "yeah"
Dawson: "Do you mind if I have some floss?"
me: "no, it's in the sidepocket"
Dawson: "Are we going to Target today??"
me: "yeah"
Dawson: "Do you mind buying me some floss?'
me: "No I don't mind buying you some floss. Are your teeth bothering you??"
Dawson: "No ma'am"
me: thinking to self who are you and what have you done with my son who hates to brush and floss???
6. When we get to Target he reminds me that he needs some floss.. We start down the aisle and I ask him what kind of floss he wants and he replies "which one is the best??" So after thinking about this for awhile, I started feeling kind of bad for telling him a story!!
So he walks around all night, and I mean ALL NIGHT, with a cold wet wash cloth in his mouth biting on it!!
So anyway the tooth is out and I found it on the floor... I asked him later if he was eating something or what happened... He said "I just pulled it out"... I still can't believe it!! This is truly a sign that he is growing up.... He's snaggletoothed!
David and I tell him all about The Tooth Fairy and how he will get money for this beautiful tooth! So then he decides that he's got another one that's loose that he can pull out.... We told him that he couldn't pull two in one day.... He gets all excited and puts the tooth under his pillow and goes to sleep!
Sure enough, the next morning there was fairy dust all over his room and an envelope with $15 and a note from The Tooth Fairy herself that read:
Dear Dawson,
This tooth is the perfect addition to my collection. You should make sure that you brush them in the morning and at night to make them shiny and bright. Thank you for leaving this tooth for me, here's a little money in return. Make sure that you let your teeth get ready to come out before pulling them as those teeth are not worth as much money as those that are ready to come out!! You're a good little boy and I'm very proud of your very first tooth!!

He was so excited!!! And so now he's gonna hate me for sure for this post one day!!! I've got some major making up to do!!

Easter 2008
Easter has come and gone once again! We had an awesome Easter this year! And of course we had a visit from the Easter Bunny!!First off on Saturday we attended two Easter egg hunts! The first one was our neighbor's, it's always the best!! This was the 3rd annual and the kids always have themselves a grand time!
All of the kids gather around Mr. Harry for the Easter story!! He is the best at telling the story!
Then off to find all of the 900 eggs that were hid for them!
This year David was able to go with us, which was great! He and Daityn Blair hunted while I watched Dawson and took lots of pictures!
This was her first egg, and darn-it , it's blurry!!! I think I was too excited and moved the camera...
Daityn Blair loves animals so David put her in the pin with the bunny rabbit!! I'm not sure what he was taking out of her mouth..... (and I really don't want to think about it.........)Here's Dawson and his friend Gatlin, posing!
Then it was off to Promise Land to another egg hunt!
They had lots of games for the kids to play and Dawson and Daityn Blair both had a great time there!!

She was soaking wet by the time we left!!! But she had a fun time!
Here Andee wasn't quite fast enough for her, so she took it upon herself to take a bite!

We awoke on Easter Sunday to two pretty baskets full of goodies for the kids!
Of course Dawson was expecting more, but that's nothing new... He said that he remembered getting more last year! Little punk... But they both got nice gifts!! More than I remember getting from the Easter Bunny!!Dawson was surprisingly happy with the clothes he got!!
And Daityn Blair was just tickled about her little chick!!
Then we got ready for church, which is always an adventure! But not as much as trying to get a good family picture!!
I thought that this one was great just looking at the thumbnail photo... Until I zoomed in and saw the face that Dawson was making.... I don't know what I'm gonna do with that boy!After church we headed to Cynthia's for some good grub!! Here is Granny holding baby cousin Brent! Daityn Blair was giving him some lovin'!!

Now off to find MORE eggs.....
Daityn Blair had the idea of sitting on the sidelines with Dawson's basket and picking out the candy that she wanted... 
And nobody realized that she had a mouth full... Until it was too late... This is what was left of a piece of chocolate.
When I took it away, off she went....
Dawson enjoyed playing ball with the boys!
And sliding.... 
Just had to put this picture of the cupcakes I made for the kids!! They were so Easter looking, just perfect for the occasion!! Not to mention yummy!!

I know I look like I'm hovering over the basket, but David had sat down on my back!! 
Last but certainly not least.... This year I was presented with an Easter gift!! Dawson and David went to town and when they came back home Dawson informed me that they'd got me a surprise!!! He had his hands behind his back and came out with this...Then he said "don't you love it mom?" I said "I sure do what is it??" He said smiling from ear to ear "it's deer teeth"!!
And of course I'll treasure the uh, deer teeth forever!!!

Blogger is liable to short out on me today....
Because I've made two posts in the past week!! Yay!!!! I used to do this everyday, and I loved it!! But then I got into the routine of the everyday stuff and let it slide!! But this is something that really makes me happy to look back and reminisce!!! I hope that one day my kids will appreciate me taking the time to do it too!!
So it's Good Friday and we had a GREAT one!! We got up this morning and Dawson and I got a hair cut!! Then off to the park we go for a picnic!! It was so much fun!! So much that I only got pictures of us while we were eating, the rest of the time we were playing on the fun equipment!! Even Daityn Blair enjoyed it! She is at the age right now that she is not quite big enough for the swings and big slides and stuff... But she tried!! She would go to the end of the slide and climb up and then slip and laugh all the way back down to the bottom!!
Of course Dawson was runnin' and rippin' all over the fun tunnel slides!! 
We had sandwiches, chips and grapes on a blanket laid out in the sunshine!! So relaxing for me and so much fun for the kiddos!! Daityn Blair had a ball runnin' around with a Capri Sun drink!! She feels like a big girl when she gets to have one of those and not a stinkin' sippy cup!! 
I really wanna do this more often!! I've gotta start taking more time out to do the fun things like that with them while they are still young enough to enjoy it!! So now we are going to be getting ready for the two Easter egg hunts tomorrow!! We have an exciting Easter planned and I'll post more pictures NEXT WEEK!!!!

My Baby Boy Turned 5!!! And Then It Snowed!!!
Can you believe it???? It seems just like yesterday I found out I was pregnant with Dawson! I wanted a baby so bad and couldn't wait to start our little family!! And he was more than I'd ever dreamed of!!! He was such a sweet baby!! And now he is growing up and now five
years old!! It makes me a little sad...
This year he is in school and they had him a little party where I could bring cupcakes!! Well, that was the plan.... The night before his actual birthday I made all of the cupcakes and set them aside.... Then in the middle of the night I woke up with the stomach virus!!!!!
ugh.... It was BAD!!! So I called trusty Amanda and she came and got Daityn Blair so that she wouldn't get the virus and took the cupcakes to the school so Dawson could have his party! I was in the bed ALL DAY LONG!!! Before Dawson left for school he came to my bed and said "mom, I'm so sorry your sick today..." I felt so bad!! If there was any way possible I could have I would've gotten right up out of that bed and spent the whole day with that baby... But, that just wasn't the case!! Dawson had the virus the week before and it was rough on him, but I think I had a double dose!!! But anyway, I got over it and all is now well... Plus, I had no choice, I had a birthday to finish getting ready for on that Friday.... Wednesday was the day that I puked all day...
So Friday rolled around and here we go to decorate!!! What would I do without Amanda??? Sometimes I think she was sent from God just to help me!!!
She is the best!! I love her just like a sister!
So the school called and said they were letting out early because of the snow that was headed our way!!! Whatever, I thought... Well she was right!!!! So I went and got Dawson and Tristan and put them to work too!! If you know Dawson, you know he likes to be naked... So here he is jumping on the trampoline at Andee's with his shirt and his underwear on....
Then of course here came the snow!! Great big beautiful flakes!!
I've have never seen snow like this!!
But the party would still be a big hit with the birthday boy!! 
Here is Amanda and her hard workin' self!!! She built The Krusty Krab!!
Cause you know we were in Bikini Bottom!!!!

Dawson loved it! He had a blast and so did all of the kids!!
We had hot dogs with all of the fixing's, chips,punch, cupcakes and more!! Here is the menu!!
I had so much fun making all of the decorations for his party this year! I'm planning on
decorating the toy room in Spongebob now that we're finished!! and I get
done doing a little much needed spring cleaning...
Amanda and I built these treasure chests for the goody bags to sit in. Well, she built them,
I painted them!! Of course there is the birthday boy posing again!
There's Dawson and Amanda posing by the beautiful tree she made in the corner!
And you know that it's just not Bikini Bottom without a field of jellyfish!!
And Spongebob's pineapple house!! 
I can't remember how, or with what... But I bribed him to take pictures.... Can you tell???
Finally it's time to open gifts!!
Dawson's favorite part!! His favorite gift was rubber boots from Conk!! 
The rest of the stuff he couldn't remember who got him anything else, except for the rubber boots!! 
Daityn Blair wanted to help, really bad... But Dawson didn't barge in on her
birthday, so it just wasn't right to let her!
It's time to eat! Here is one of the tables set up with Gary supervising!!
Instead of buying a cake, I made cupcakes!! Into the shape of Spongebob!!

I don't know what Punky was doing but she looks guilty.... Little stinker!
I think this is the only time that Dawson slowed down... You can tell by his little red cheeks... He gulped punch the whole time that we sang Happy Birthday!!
Then made a wish and blew out the candles!

More guests that waded through all of the snow just for the special occasion!!!
The kids had great fun jumping on the trampoline! Dawson jumped with the girls.... 
And fought with the boys!

Some of the kids needed a little bit of help!!
And then we let Dawson finish him off!!
By the way these kids jumped for this candy when it fell out,
you would think they'd never seen candy before in their lives!!
After the party was over, we were all pooped!!
Dawson didn't really get to enjoy the snow on Friday. So Saturday morning we got up and went out to play for a few minutes before having to go to David's family reunion.

I couldn't even make a picture of it.... It was that bad......
So David, Granny and Dawson made a good one! But because the morning was so freakin' hectic, and it was so hot, I didn't get a picture of it before it fell apart...

It was huge, and pretty too!!
