The Pillow Fight....

Not much exciting has been going on here... Just cleaning and packing and all the other non-blogworthy junk!!
Tuesday night, Patrick and Dawson engaged in a pillow fight... Uncle Patrick put Dawson's SpongeBob underwear on his head, and the fight was on...
And there's Tiff on the side, talking on the phone... Imagine that!!

Mid-fight Dawson stopped for a quick hug, and tried to call a truce... It didn't take long and they were right back at it..

Finally Tiffany thought that D could use some help, so they teamed up on poor uncle Patrick....

Dawson took turns being on their side!!!

When he got tired he said "I'm taking a nap".....

Two seconds later, he was up and at 'em again!!

Sometimes Dawson didn't use a pillow... He used straight fists!! It was definitely entertaining!! I love those silly kids... They always make me laugh!!

I hope you all are having a great week!!

I've also added a few more Easter pictures to Photobucket

What A Pair

Here is one of my favorite pictures of my sweet Dawson and Onyx.. While I've been working trying to get packed, Onyx has kept Dawson busy!! When Carson and Brice aren't here, Onyx is his best friend... Dawson beats, pulls and punches him, and he just wiggles and comes back for more!! He's only 5 months old, and I think he and Dawson are going to be best friends for a long long time!!!!
Happy Hump Day!!
I thought there was a cool front coming in.... It must have missed us... Because IT IS HOT!!!

The Past Couple of Weeks in Pictures

I'm sure that most of you all have moved at least once in your life.. For me, the first time wasn't as hard as this... After a minor set back over the weekend with our new home, we are back on track with the same ol' plan!! Now, again, I can't wait!!!!!!

Okay, let's start back from last week... On Thursday my friend Betsy and I took our kids to see Dora.. Her kids loved it.. They never moved the entire time, my child, however... Hates to watch television.... So he layed out in the aisle and said he was going to take a nap!! If we'd taken him to the tractor pulls, he would have been more interested... Here are a few pictures from our trip!!

Here is Brice, Carson, and Dawson just before the show.. They were so excited!! Dawson was cheesing!!!!!!!

When we got to the line to pick up our tickets, we ran into Andee, Percy and Landry... So we got to eat lunch together and catch up a little bit!! The kids had a blast playing at Johnny's... It was almost like just the women went out for lunch... Nice!!!!

This is right before the show, I finally got them all to get in a line for ONE picture with the five of them.. From L-R Brice, Landry, Percy, Carson & Dawson.. We could see Percy during the show dancing away!! I think they all really enjoyed the show...

Okay, this is something that Betsy and I talked about.... Did Dora look manly to anyone else???

It was kind of hard to get a picture with our kids and something not be wrong... But we tried... Here is me and Dawson!! Of course his eyes were closed in every picture..

And here is Betsy Carson and Brice!! All of the pictures of them were blurry...

When we left, we had to find Easter outfits... So first we stopped by the mall and got trapped... By the train!!

Then we went to Target... After both of our husband's called to let us know that we were under a tornado warning... Betsy and I decided that we'd rather be in Target rather than on the road... So off we went... I got the kids popcorn and cokes to keep them quiet.. But poor little Carson couldn't stand it another minute!!

That night the weather got pretty rough... So we went and stayed at Granny's... In the hall... But before the tornados were close Dawson had to play on the drums for awhile!! Strangely enough, he keeps a pretty good beat!!

The next day brought along the prom!! Like the other two girls have done for their proms, Tiffany asked me to put on her make-up... "SURE"!! I love to do make-up!!! And so we did!!

Hehe, I should post the before and after.... naaaa she'd probably choke me!!! She's just as pretty plain jane!!

Tiffany is my baby, she was only eight when David and I started dating... She has always been my girl and I can't even believe that she is old enough to be going to the prom... I remember when Amanda went, I was sad, but I was prepared... I knew that Victoria would be going soon after Manda, I was sad, but still in shock of having a baby... With Tiffany, it kind of snuck up on me... Tiffany is so sweet and she looked beautiful!!!

Last week was crazy, I've been packing and moving... Ugh, I'm so tired of looking at boxes, I could scream!!!! Thank God for Betsy... She's been coming out and bringing her kids and that has kept Dawson so busy... She's really helped me a lot!!

Friday came and it was BUNCO time!!!! We had it at my daddy's and we all got in the hot tub after playing for awhile... Well, not all of us, but half of us... I can't believe that I left my damn camera at home!!! I never leave my camera at home!!! But we did have a blast!! Julie, you gotta send me some pictures!!

Saturday morning we had a huge Easter egg hunt to go to at our neighbor's house.. It was so much fun!!

Mr. Harry told the real reason for Easter with jelly beans for all of the kids... And then it was off to the hunt!!

There were over 1,000 hidden... Dawson found 30... He was more interested in what was inside the egg rather than how many he got!!! But he had a wonderful time!!

Saturday night the Easter Bunny hopped into our house and made a wreck of the whole place!! (well actually he/she made a wreck of the place last week..) So Sunday morning Dawson was anticipating what kind of surprises he would have in his basket.... I assure you that he WAS a lot more excited than he looked!!;)

He was most excited about the SpongeBob camera that he threw a fit for at Target last week... But didn't get... Thanks to the Easter Bunny, now he has it and all of the film was used up in about 30 minutes... But he loved it!!

Sunday morning he looked like such a big boy!! Off to church for another Easter egg hunt!! The kids had a blast!!

Amanda has the kids spoiled rotton, she is Dawson's cousin and Sunday School teacher.. A couple of weeks ago, she showed them how to trace each other with sidewalk chalk... Of course Dawson wanted to trace her... Amanda has never said "no" to him, why start now!!??!! hehe!! (she'll be ready to kill me for this picture!!)

Yep, down she goes!!! In her new Easter dress and all!!! She is a nut!!

After Church we went to David's cousin Cynthia's house for yet another Easter egg hunt!!! Cynthia took our family picture for us.. (I look like a fat hog squatted down like that.) Note to self: Always stand in pictures!!

Dawson loved hunting all of the "rooster eggs"!! That's what he calls it... It's not Easter, it's rooster!! hehe!!

It was so funny watching him at this egg hunt... He wouldn't look for the "rooster" eggs... He would watch Julia... When he saw her running for an egg, he'd start running with her and look for the same egg... Then get mad when he got there and she took the egg... We laughed so hard!!!!

Dawson was so tired after this, but he wanted to go to Conk's and hunt one more time with aunt Punky!! So he stayed awake all the way home!!! He knew if he fell asleep, I would've brought him home and put him in his bed for a good nap..

He and Tristan had a good time... She isn't the best Easter egg hunter... She wants you to hide them, and then tell her where you put them... Dawson showed her where most of them were.. He found them better than she did!! hehe!!

Here he is taking a picture of Tristan... CHEESE!!!

Before we went to mom's I let him open his camera... He took a picture of me and mom with his camera, and this is one that he took with mine.... He's gonna be a photographer... Pretty good for a 3 yr. Old eye!?! Remember note to self!!

This was also David's 31st birthday!!! Which sucked for him... But that's just something that happens when you have to share your birthday with Easter!!! He had an upset tummy, and had been up all night... So after dinner at Cynthia's, he crashed on the couch until we returned from Conk's...

Happy belated birthday sweetheart!! I love you!!! Your never too old in my eyes!!

So this was our week... And packing in between... I really, really want a nap!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful week!!

Thanks Mom!!

It's ironic that my mom actually sent this to me, knowing that she has already instilled each and every thing on this list in my head from years and years ago!! Major emphasis on the ***!!! I love you mom!!

4. ***My mother taught me LOGIC. " Because I said so, that's why."
5. My mother taught me MORE LOGIC. "If you fall out of that swing and break your neck, you're not going to the store with me."
6. My mother taught me FORESIGHT. "Make sure you wear clean underwear, in case you're in an accident."
7. ***My mother taught me IRONY. "Keep crying, and I'll give you something to cry about."
8. ***My mother taught me about the science of OSMOSIS. "Shut your mouth and eat your supper."
9. My mother taught me about CONTORTIONISM. " Will you look at that dirt on the back of your neck!"
10. My mother taught me about STAMINA. "You'll sit there until all that spinach is gone."
11. ***My mother taught me about WEATHER. "This room of yours looks as if a tornado went through it."
12. My mother taught me about HYPOCRISY. "If I told you once, I've told you a million times. Don't exaggerate!"
13. ***My mother taught me the CIRCLE OF LIFE. "I brought you into this world, and I can take you out."
14. ***My mother taught me about BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION. "Stop acting like your father!"
15. ***My mother taught me about ENVY. "There are millions of less fortunate children in this world who don't have wonderful parents like you do."
16. ***My mother taught me about ANTICIPATION. "Just wait until we get home."
17. ***My mother taught me about RECEIVING. "You are going to get it when you get home!"
18. My mother taught me MEDICAL SCIENCE. "If you don't stop crossing your eyes, they are going to get stuck that way."
19. My mother taught me ESP. "Put your sweater on; don't you think I know when you are cold?"
20. My mother taught me HUMOR. "When that lawn mower cuts off your toes, don't come running to me."
21. My mother taught me HOW TO BECOME AN ADULT. "If you don't eat your vegetables, you'll never grow up."
22. ***My mother taught me GENETICS. "You're just like your father."
23. ***My mother taught me about my ROOTS. "Shut that door behind you. Do you think you were born in a barn?"
24. ***My mother taught me WISDOM. "When you get to be my age, you'll understand."
25. ***And my favorite: My mother taught me about JUSTICE. "One day you'll have kids, and I hope they turn out just like you!"

How appropriate.... Thanks mom!! I wish I had a good picture of us together!! We'll have to do that soon!! I love you!!

Good Things to Look Forward to in My New House

A lot of you know that David and I have bought a new house!! We've been wanting something bigger, and now it'll be here VERY soon!! Here is just a few pros, you can imagine the cons of living in a two bedroom trailer with a 3 year old!! It's not really small, but we've outgrown it!!

1. 4 bedrooms instead of 2
2. 3 bathrooms instead of 2
3. Huge living room for more friends & family gatherings..
4. Nice dining room for huge table for us to have a seat and not have to eat in our laps.
5. Nice French doors out dining room for morning sunshine!! (My plants will appreciate that I'm sure)
6. TOY ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
7. Master bathroom WITH A DOOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
8. Foyer with tile to take off shoes at the front door and not ruin my carpet!!!!!
9. HUGE utility room with extra cabinets and a closet.
10. Two ovens instead of 1 and a smooth stove top!!! No more scrubbing burners!!!
11. A carport to not get drenched in the rain bringing in groceries and Dawson!!!
12. A door entering into utility room for the farmer's in the family to strip before tracking through the entire house with dirty boots & clothes!!
13. 2 extra bedrooms for extra boo's and company too!!
14. Tiff and Punky don't have to be woken up by David leaving for work because they aren't sleeping by the front door ever again (unless they want to)!!
15. Big windows and lots of em'!!
16. Siding and shingles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (you'll only appreciate this if you've ever lived in a trailer with a tin roof and siding!!!)
17. Front door with big oval glass... (you know me I have to have the front door open, with this I'll be saving energy!!!! David will appreciate this for sure!!)
18. A PANTRY!!!!!!
19. Lots of cabinets in a non-onebutt kitchen!!
20. My freezer out of the kitchen and into the utility room!!
21. A fireplace!!!!
22. A big island in the kitchen with a bar that is actually big enough to sit and eat comfortably!!
23. Huge walk-in closets in every bedroom!!!

OMG, I could just go on, and on... But I've gotta go to bed... I'm probably not going to be posting much for awhile.. I'm trying to get packed up and ready for the big move!!!!! I can't wait!!!

Anyone that wants to help move is more than welcome!!;)
