Greetings to Autumn!!
Hello Fall!!! I love it! This is my favorite time of year. I love to see all of the autumn leaves falling and everyone is putting out pumpkins. The colors are just beautiful. Seems like the perfect time to have a wiener roast!!The leaves are falling and covering the ground, but as nice as the weather is I don't mind going out and raking them up into piles!! It's almost cool enough for a jacket.. I'd rather it be cold than hot.. You can always put a few more layers of clothing on... But in the summer some people could be offended if you take off too much!
Today would be the perfect day to go to the park..Dawson had the best time yesterday.. He loves to slide and "swing on his belly". There were some other people at the pavilion when we arrived. There was a little boy I didn't know having a birthday party. I thought it was so nice, I guess the child's daddy, came over and asked Dawson if he would like a cupcake. He was far enough away that he could hear Dawson say "naw". I said "he said no, Thanks for asking, I appreciate it". I thought that was very nice for this day in time for sure. Then the guy came back and asked if he would like some ice cream. Ya know I thought that was so nice of him to offer my child a cupcake and ice cream when he didn't even know us.. There are still good hearted people in this world..
We had a wonderful dinner today.. I broiled porkchops, cabbage, broccoli & cheese, zipper cream peas (fresh from granny's garden), (fresh) fried okra...mmmmmmm it was good... David loves for me to fix cabbage.. I think he would eat it every meal if I could stand to smell it cooking!!
Okay, I have to get the kitchen cleaned up so I can go outside and get my hands dirty in the flower beds!! It's too nice to stay inside today!! Have a great rest of the week everyone!!

Today is the Day!!
Well, here I go, today is the day!! I'm starting my own blog!Dawson is napping (not without first watching John Deere for kids twice today for the millionth time), but he is napping. I promised him that if he would take a good nap I would have a surprise for him when he wakes up. He loves to go to the park and so that is his surprise.. He needs to release some energy and the great big slide works wonders!:-)
We had a lot of fun last night. We had the youth Sunday School class over for hamburgers and birthday cake. Adrianna and Victoria both have birthday's this week and how better to celebrate than eating? We all had fun. I hope that is the beginning of a wonderful relationship with the kids and David and I. God is definitely holding our hands and leading us through this new adventure.. But we are loving every minute of it.
I guess I better stop for now.. No make-up, no clothes, no nothing and D will be up soon!! Bye for now!
