My List of Wishes...

Just a couple of things that I can think of right now that would be really nice....

* A maid... Just to come in and clean up the mess that Santa left and no one has the energy or want to, or will do it themselves or help out the poor fat pregnant woman who can hardly get around...

*A nurse... To help my baby get well, bless his heart I don't know what it is about Christmas that always makes him sick, but he has got the crud and is only getting worse instead of better...

*A built in clothes picker upper and washer and dryer and folder upper and putter upper (if there ever could be such a thing)... So that no one in this house would have to (God forbid) bend over and pick up their own clothes and carry them to the dirty clothes hamper!!

*A nap... Should be self explanatory...

*A foot massage... With no time limit...

*A back massage... With no time limit...

*An interior decorator... To finish Daityn's room, cause she will be here in about 7 weeks!!

* Ear plugs... Cause Santa was having a brain fart and brought our 3 year old a drum set, with a newborn on the way...

*Christmas with all of our family, together... Cause we can't seem to all be on the same page...

*My daddy... to come back home from Colorado, even though he just left yesterday...

But ya know, just a nap would be fine... A nap that consisted of all of the above things getting done while I was sleeping... That would just be grand!!

All I need is just one more thing to add to the list of things to do, or things that should've been done... And I'm going to admit myself into the mental institution... If only to get that much needed nap...

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas!! Have a happy new year!!

Merry Christmas!!

Gah, it's been a long while! We are still here, barely... We've had a pretty rough go for the past month or so. This is probably going to be a pretty long post. I hope to fill you in on everything!! The top picture is our Christmas card, but don't have your feelings hurt if you don't have one yet, because I ran out, and I've got to order some more!! Be patient.... You may get one in February...

We do have a name for the new baby expected in about 8-10 weeks!! Daityn Blair!! Although Dawson still doesn't want anyone talking to him about her yet, he does have a pillow that he's been taking care of.. He says it's his baby and her name is Daityn CLAIR, not Daityn Blair... He changes her diaper feeds her and spanks her booty too... Which could be really bad....
Dr. Lee seems to think that she is going to be big baby so I'm going for another ultrasound on the 3rd to see how big she is.. I'm sure then he'll give me a definite date of when he is going to take her!! The countdown is ON!!!

We were writing his letter to Santa Claus last week and I asked him what he wanted me to tell him that he wanted.. This is how his letter went, he told me EVERYTHING to write....

Dear Santa Claus, I've been a very good boy this year
I would like a big dirt buggy with some hooks for my tractors. I could also use a new tractor too. I really need a log skidder. Please bring me some drums just like my Uncle Patrick. No clothes please. You can forget my baby sister, cause I know that you don't make baby toys.. She don't want anything anyway. I'll leave you some cookies and chocolate milk. Have a safe trip! Love, Dawson

So this Christmas could get very interesting!! We went to church last night and Santa was there and brought him a skidder... OMG, you would've thought that he brought a million bucks!! You cqan tell by the look on his face here, with skidder in hand... And we did have to sleep with this skidder last night too!!
Let me tell you the story behind the skidder ordeal... That's all that he's asked for, for months... I've looked and looked.... Olivia and I stayed on the computer one day for hours looking for a freaking skidder that was BIG. Of course they don't make them big.... So finally David found one... I ordered it. When it came in it was in a brown box.. So I left it on the freezer in the utility room... Dawson got really sick and started running a high fever a couple of days later.... So I took him to the doctor.. While waiting for his shot for strep throat he was throwing a fit... So I told him that we would go to Target and get him something to farm with and we would go home and farm the rest of the day... Of course when we get there he finds the only skidder that I've ever seen in person.... It only cost about $5 so I bought it.... That night when we got home I was on the phone and he came in the kitchen holding the new John Deere skidder that I'd ordered... His eyes were huge, and he said "momma, look what I found!!" Can we open it??? I almost passed out!!! I said "no we can't open it.. I'm going to send that back because me and daddy got you that for Christmas, but since you got one today at Target I've gotta send it back". Of course his response was "but momma let's just take this one back to Target, cause I don't like it like I do this one!!". So after bedtime I HID the skidder and taped the box back up... The next day UPS came to drop off another special present and I made him give them the empty box to take back!! I told him that he'd have to be extra nice and ask Santa to bring him a skidder like the one that mom and dad found for him... So that made the skidder from Santa even more special!! Amanda had a great idea to build a float for the Christmas parade and I don't think that I got a really good picture that will justify just how precious this float was!! Dawson, Aunt Punky and Jake rode on it!! Dawson was hollering "choo choo Merry Christmas"!! It was so funny, Amanda and I laughed the whole time! The first picture is the front and the second is the back. He went with Granny to watch Charlotte's Web on Saturday.. She said that he really liked it... I asked him and he said "mom, it was just so sad CHARLOTTE DIED!!!". He's so sensitive, and he don't want anyone to be sad..

It's been really hard on him with his Uncle Tabor's sudden death.. He doesn't fully understand what's going on... All he knows is that everyone is so sad.. David and I told him that Tabor was gone to live with Jesus in Heaven, and that we're just sad because we are going to miss him. His first question was "does heaven have a phone??" because he said "I just wanted to call and tell Uncle Tabor something". So then he wanted to know if we could go there.. It's amazing the things that a little mind can digest.. He asked me if Tabor was sad.. I told him no because heaven is a wonderful place where no one is sad and if he believes in God one day he'll get to go to heaven too.. His eyes got wide and he said "mom I do believe in God, I do"..

Sometimes he just leaves me speechless... He doesn't want anyone to be sad... Especially my daddy who is taking this really hard.. He can't help it and sometimes he just breaks down... Dawson always tries to give him really big kisses or do something silly to make him laugh! He's just such a blessing to us all, especially right now! I don't know what we would do without him!! Please remember our family in your prayers during this holiday season!! We really need them!!

After Christmas is probably going to be just as busy as it has been... I just hope the next post isn't about a new baby.... But it very well could be!! And anyone wanting to help completely set up a nursery while the mommy is sleeping.... Please feel free to do so!!;)

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!!!!
